Our "baby" is two!

or as someone might say, "I'm twoooooo!"

Yes! It is true our baby girl celebrated her bEARTHday- today with a special birthday bone!

Our FUN get away!

James and I had the privilege to go to Houston for 3 days last week. I attended an awesome conference and James got to catch up on his sleep, t.v. watching and book reading. We stayed at the Embassy Suites right behind the Galleria Mall which was our form of entertainment and exercise those 3 days. The suites were sweet, but not as sweet as my dessert one day at the Mall. (I know my good friend Mrs. B's mouth will water when she sees the picture) It was also very cool that inside the hotel lobby because there were REAL swans in the pond. I think we both decided that we would have to do a mini trip like this every year!

Ours is wrapped tightly! Can you blame us? She is the cutest, most well behaved, and yes -a very sweet and spoiled "BIG" dog. She has definitely GRACED our lives!!!!!!

Where, oh where, oh where are the Bluebonnets?

For those of you who live in Austin, the surrounding areas, or use to live here you know this time of year is beautiful. Well this year I got excited again, and boy have been surprised at what I have seen. It is pink everywhere is it usually blue -which is a very strange sight. Sure there are a few blue spots, but nothing like it usually is. :(

It's OFFICIAL!

I am the new kindergarten lead teacher at the Teravista Elementary School. The school will open it's doors this August, and the building is on schedule to be ready July 1st!

I have already had the privilege to meet two of my new team mates, and I am so excited that I have been given this awesome opportunity!

Normally we would recommend Salt Grass, but after this night I don't think anyone in our party would recommend it. Thankfully the company made the birthday dinner more enjoyable!

My mom was very excited that she only had one candle to blow out- as if you couldn't tell!

We also had a very YUMMY, Gail cake! And if it couldn't get any better there was Blue Bell on the side. :D
