I had the sweet pleasure of learning a ton of cake decorating ideas, tips, and secrets from our very own cake decorating herself... Gale.
Here is what we learned...

This was my finished cake. The hubby said it was real yummy, but I couldn't bring myself to eat it after all my hard work. I think that was the most important thing I learned... I don't mind eating Gale's hard work, but eating mine... you have got to be kidding, right?!?

This is a picture of some of the key women educators who are apart of this elite group of women. What an honor!

A Spring Break from the BLOG

To all my faithful followers please except my apologies for not keeping up with the BLOG lately. It's not that I took a break from LIFE just BLOGGING. Actually I did try to once but good old technology didn't cooperate. This will be my attempt to catch you up with what has been going on around here lately.

I went north for a few days to see my sister over spring break. We had fun shopping, playing with the puppy, and eating. Oh, and I finally finished her curtains. Here is picture courtesy of her.

This is what happens when I don't have a craving for Rice Crispy Treats!and this is the culprit! 3 pans! SERIOUSLY?????Kota and Grace finally met during my mom's birthday gathering, and just like we figured they were inseparable!I tried my best to get some cute pictures... do you know how hard it is to get a Kodak moments with 8 legs and attention spans that last only 3 seconds and teeth??? So far impossible but I'm sure there will be a next time.Well that is it for now- not that I don't have more but they are stuck on my camera with an exhausted battery :) fun, fun.

Anyone for...

a little Sunday afternoon game of kickball? Me! Me two! Me three!

In the spirit of fun and wellness the district organized a kickball tournament last Sunday. As you can imagine the TIGERS took it very seriously by practicing, assigning positions, kicking orders, and even "uniforms."

This is "us" before the sweat and tears of our first game against the McNeil High School's 80's team. We should have WON this game, and it was so disappointing that the other team wasn't honest- even if it was just for FUN.

These are a few of my "team mates" doing their pre-game mo-jo trying to intimidate the other teams and warm-up. ???

This is our AWESOME team after our 3 victory in a row... headed to the championship. Unfortunately we lost, but fortunately we had FUN!
