Family Picnic Time

We went on our first (whole) family picnic to Round Rock Memorial Park. It was a lot of fun- but hot so we didn't stay long. I think we will have to plan another picnic... in the fall.

"Mommy, look what I found!"

I brought home my kiddos chicks from school, so I didn't have to go up to school over the weekend to feed them. They were great entertainment for all the kids in the house that weekend, too. Will was just mesmerized by them, and would watch as long as we would let him. No worries- there were no chicks harmed in the making of this blog... we didn't let him hold them. :)

My "chicks"!

My kids and I have had the privilege to be mother's to some eggs in our classroom, and today they hatched. Hopefully we will have some more tomorrow!

Look what we've found!

Will has discovered his paci- which has given his mom and dad the privilege to play hide and seek a lot- which is not always fun in the middle of the night or driving down the interstate.

Fun times! Oh, the joys of being a parent.
