4th of July Celebration

To celebrate the 4th we went to a local ice cream parlor called Jenni's where they have very strange or should I say interesting flavors. I got the salty Carmel and it was delicious. James got some peanut butter chi chili flavor ( I think that is what it was called) which was sweet at first and then provided a slight burn in the back of your throat- not exactly my idea of ice cream.
After the ice cream stop we walked and sweat -ed it off- literally- by walking down to another beautiful waterfall..

It's Parade Time

We had the priveledge to walk in the Dublin Forth of July Parade with Dublin Baptist Church where our friends attend church. They have a float every year advertizing their church and inviting families to their VBS. It was tons of fun, and as you can see I was willing to get into "costume" and even had a job. I even got to try my very first Cow Tail which was pretty good. Obviously I was in heaven... I mean Ohio! =)

A few of God's beautiful creations

all in one place- Hayden Falls Park in Dublin, Ohio! That is a 25 foot waterfall. It was so peaceful there.

PARK TIME

Last year our friends the Brown's introduced us to these Metro Parks that they have all over their town and surrounding towns. These parks have great amenities and with the great Ohio weather it makes for a great place for a cook out- not to mention yummy s'mores!
Of course when we arrived Will was asleep.
Then he got to swing in his first swing. The park had a beautiful stream where James took some pictures. Then he took some pictures of the kids- too cute!

This is Will's first girlfriend- Maddie.

They rode together during the 10 days of our trip, and became quite fond of each other. The hand on her leg cracks me up!
This is the J-Man who is almost as tall as his mommy now. I can't tell you how many times I had flash backs to when Jared was Will's age, and to see them playing together was super sweet!

Will's first visit to the zoo

It became a tradition 4 years ago that every time we visit our good friends that we visit the near by zoo.

This year was extra special to experience it with Will.
It didn't take long for him to get tired out. He ended up missing my favorite exhibit- the monkeys. It still seems strange to see two strollers in pictures.

Talking a stroller break to have lunch.
I know you might be thinking the W is for Will - but it is really for WOW! I can't believe my little Will is pulling up and walking around things already. I know it won't be long before he lets go- and never holds on again!
