Deja Vu

Ok- so we had a little deja vu Saturday night! Our friend's the F's came up from Buda, and this is what we found after a few moments of silence- sleeping angels. Which of course reminded us of our friend's the B's. Our little J-man would always fall asleep in the hallway playing with his toys while the "grown-ups" were playing cards.
So what should you learn from us... all you have to do is play a game, give a kid a toy or two, and then they will put themself to sleep!

SUPER STARS!

We are the SUPER STARS! Well at least that is how the cheer went. My kindergarten team and I performed a cheerleading act for our school's talent show Friday night. We had a ton of fun acting goofy and it is always fun to see my kids in a different "light"! Many of my current and previous students sang, danced, and even performed a Martial Arts act.
It was a fun and cheep date night!

An Alien in my kitchen !?!

No it is only my husband who is no stranger to kitchen work- just apparently cutting an avacado! I have not been feeling well this week so my wonderful hubby helped heat up some chicken tortilla soup (way yummy!) and of course I wanted to have an avacado to go with it. Before I could get over to help this is what I "encountered"...





... at least he was willing to help since he can't stand those things!

My New Best Friend

It's sad but true... I have spent many hours in the last few months MODGE PODGING anything I could get my hands on. Here are just a few of the projects!

Pretty in Pink

Well I had my first experience of hosting a baby shower this week for a coworker. It turned out to be lots of fun and beautiful!
However with no thanks to all the many party stores and suppliers! One of my jobs was to purchase the paper products, and boy was that a JOB! I literally looked at over 10 different stores and could not find anything. Ok maybe I did find things like bears, hippos, winnie the pooh, and the generic we don't know what we are having decorations. But what about those girly girls who know they are having a girl. All I wanted was a little pink... was that too much to ask? Well I did adventually find what I was looking for in the bridal section of a local Walmart. It was very pretty and dainty yet simple and elegant- pink with white pokadots! Thanks Walmart!

It's A Girl!

My brother and sister in law found out last week that they are expecting a girl. I had the privilege of having dinner over at their house last weekend and got to see their Classic Pooh nursery, and the 3D ultrasound. Too cute!
Now we can be more focused when shopping!

Scrapbookers Announamous

Ok- I know I should be embarrassed, and honestly I am way down deep! I have an addiction to scrapbooking! I love to create and call it my own, and it doesn't hurt that my husband supports my addiction as well.

This is a picture of what our living room has looked like for over a month now. Yes- it does bug me when I see it ALL sitting over there and I don't have time or even the energy to put forth. What's even worse is that it only bugs me and not the hubby.

Well today is a new day! I am officially caught up on this years album, and I thought what a great BLOG! I know I haven't posted in awhile- but scrapbooking is my excuse- and trust me it's a good one!

Don't worry scrapbooking friends when I mean caught up I mean caught up from July '07 till the present. I haven't finished our engagement album (I'm working on it now) and still haven't even touched the wedding or first 2 years of marriage pictures. There is HOPE for us ALL!

Well I'm off to my chair in front of those movies I've seen a hundred times (ok- maybe 10!).
